Course Overview:
- Planning and preparing for dogging tasks
- Identifying and controlling hazards
- Selecting and inspecting appropriate lifting equipment
- Applying correct slinging techniques
- Directing crane operators using standard communication methods
- Complying with workplace safety and legislative requirements
Assessment:
Participants will demonstrate competency through practical tasks, including the safe movement of various load types using industry-standard equipment. Successful completion leads to a Statement of Attainment and eligibility to apply for a high-risk work licence.

No formal prerequisite. Completion of the general construction induction (White Card) is required for site access.
