CPCCLRG3002 Licence to perform Rigging intermediate level
Course Overview:
This course provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to safely perform
intermediate rigging activities.
Learners will understand how to identify hazards, calculate load weights, sling and move loads
safely. The training will include sufficient time to allow learners to practice their skills prior to
their assessment.
This course is essential for people working in industry who are required to sling and move loads
and provides a pathway to obtain your high-risk work licence to perform Intermediate Rigging
activities.
Pre-Requisites/Entry Requirements:
This unit has a pre-requisite requirement. This requirement may be met by either the successful
completion of the unit CPCCLRG3001 Licence to perform rigging basic level or holding a valid licence
for basic rigging.
Halo Nation Training do require learners to meet the following local entry requirements:
• Learners must be aged 18 years or older.
• Photo Identification is required to be sighted prior to course commencement
• Language, literacy and numeracy skills required to interpret work instructions, equipment
operating instructions and to.
• Learners must be dressed in their normal work clothing and be wearing steel capped boots.
• Learners must be alert and physically capable of driving safely.

Certification:
On successfully completing the training and assessment you will be issued a Statement of
Attainment issuing you the unit of competency: CPCCLRG3002 Licence to perform rigging
intermediate level.
This unit of competence is nationally recognised and provides individuals with a valuable
outcome that is recognised throughout Australia.
The issuance of the unit of competency will provide you an important part of the eligibility
criteria to obtain a Intermediate rigging license. Please refer to the section “Rigging licencing
with ‘Work Safe Tasmania” for more information of the licensing process.
